I just got this (I’ve been ordering lots of different and unusual flash drives to give as gifts this Christmas.) Copied a couple test files on, so far so good. If you love leather and stainless steel, this is your model. It’s hard to tell from the picture, but the cap stays attached to the unit when you take it off — an excellent feature in my book for all flash drives (I hate lost caps). There is a little leather strap that keeps the cap attached, and it gets tucked back into a slot on the cap when you cover the drive again. The other side of the stick has a reasonable-sized slot for attaching to a key ring. Good for those who like sporty, modern Italian/German styling.

Sony – 32 GB Memory Stick PRO memory card – black

Works for Mac OS 9 (9.2.2) and OS X (10.3.9) perfectly, even when plugged into keyboard USB port.
I thought it might need a powered USB port but it worked perfectly plugged
into USB port of iMac keyboard (tried with OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.3.9).
Fast transfer speed for my USB 1.0 setup (actual tested rate on my USB 1.0 iMac
was 800K/second * 60 seconds = 48 MB/minute), I do not have any USB 2 computers
so not able to say how fast it would transfer for USB 2.

Worked with my SanDisk 128MB (class 1) card and a SanDisk 2GB class 2 card perfectly.
I even used Toast to compare the data of the original and a copy made to the
hard drive and Toast confirmed that the original and the copy were 100% the same,
so data integrity is 100%.
