Nintendo 64 – Mini Review and Dismantling Tips – Part 1
This is my first video on youtube. Hope to do more in the future. For now take a seat, get comfy and have a look. In this video i’ll be doing a short review of the Nintendo 64 console as well as giving you some tips on cleaning these old things. If you’ve got an old Nintendo 64 laying around and it might be looking a little grimy, why not dismantle it and give it a good cleaning? Also for those like myself who are now hunting down all these old systems, the ones you may find out there used can be pretty dirty from years of abuse or even simply sitting on a shelf in someones closet. I’ve come across carts with cheetos and candies stuck in them. So for that i’d also recommend a good tear down and cleaning. In this video i’ll give you some quick tips on taking the console apart, as well as the controller. Also I’ll show you how to open the console without shelling out money on those “game bits” for the special screws Nintendo uses — make your own for cheap! Lastly i’ll be giving you a heads up on these old memory cards, which have a battery that can leak after a long time and essentially destroy the internals of the card itself. Avoid that by replacing it. Part 2 www.youtube.com Also – Thank you to jello2545 for the intro music. Tetris Remix.
